• Description: Research Project - SOL: Secure Online Access Duration: 2 years; Funding: FAPESP; Value: R$ 1,500,000.00 The SOL project was developed for the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and its main objective was to specify a new computing environment with the appropriate tools to support FAPESP's workflow. Initially, information, application, and communication requirements were identified. Two major areas of the project were identified: Computer Network Environment Workflow System Within the scope of the computer network environment, the following project items were specified and implemented: Cabling Infrastructure: installation of properly certified cabling. Network Infrastructure: installation of equipment with modern technology. Management Infrastructure: installation of tools for managing equipment and systems. Security Infrastructure: installation of security software and definition of security policies. This computer network environment forms the basis for the implementation of the workflow system, which aims to computerize processes and information flow at FAPESP, making work more agile and ensuring information security.
