Undergraduate Program in Electrical Engineering

The Department of Computer Engineering and Digital Systems (PCS) at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (EPUSP) offers two different undergraduate programs: Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. Both provide advanced training and are integrated into the Poli curriculum, but they have different teaching methodologies and program structures.

The curriculum at the Polytechnic School of USP spans 5 years (10 semesters) and is divided into the Basic Cycle (the first 2 years) and the Professional/Elective courses corresponding to the student's chosen program.

For the programs offered by the PCS department, the general structure is:

• Basic Cycle for the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering programs – focused on exact sciences courses such as Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Analytic Geometry, and Linear Algebra. Curriculum Information.
