Tecnologias de Redes sem fio: WPANS, WLANS E WMANS – Desafio de Segurança, Vulnerabilidade e Soluções

This course explores the new security paradigms of wireless networks (WPANs, WLANs and WMANs). It presents the main technologies, their security vulnerabilities, and the security mechanisms and services supported by the standards. Additionally, it discusses some security system proposals that address the security issues previously presented. The main purpose of this course is to create a strong and critical background for the development of projects and solutions that fulfill the security requirements of applications for wireless networks,taking into account the theoretical and technological aspects.
