Learning Management System of Tidia Ae project

Nowadays, the challenge in developing e-learning environments is to provide the teacher advanced pedagogical approaches by giving a number of different tools as options to support these approaches without losing portability. The new generation of Learning Management System (LMS) offers ways to organize courses by creating structures to track and to manage students’ actions, being portable to different environments. The objective of this paper is to present the LMS architecture developed in Tidia-AE (Electronic Learning) Project sponsored by FAPESP (São Paulo – Brazil), which has the goal to be part of Electronic Learning development supported by high-speed networks.
