Joana Sócrates Dantas

Ph.D. studies at the Polytechnic School of USP, Electrical Engineering, area: Digital System, sub-area: Computer Networks. She has a Masters in Digital Media - London Metropolitan University (2003), Researches on the following topics: Optical Networks, DWDM, Flexigrid OFDM based Optiacl Networks, PCE, QoS on backbone networks. Develops a newtroks performance simulator in Java programming.

Fernando Luiz de Almeida

Possui graduação em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Paranaense (2002) e mestrado em Sistemas e Computação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (2005). Atualmente é aluno de doutorado da Universidade de São Paulo pela Escola Politécnica. Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação, com ênfase em Teleinformática e gerenciamento de redes.  Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Gerenciamento baseado em Políticas, Sistemas Autonomos e Distribuição de Vídeo Digital e Sistemas de Aprendizado Eletrônico

Activity: Helping to build a hybrid IPTV architecture, specifying the modules and creating a simulation to proof of concept.

Activity: Maintenance and development of new functionalities of a CRM system using the liguagens Delphi, Java and Oracle database. This relationship between the languages was performed by Webservice, was also used the server JBoss.

Romeo Bulla Junior

Graduated in Computer Science (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo - 2002) and Master Degree by "Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo" (2009)

Software development in FDTE (Fundação para o Desenvolvimento Tecnológico da Engenharia) in projects related to NEC (WinNav system) and NCR (banking ATM systems) companies. Also, worked with MSP, in service of TecBan by elaborating banking ATM systems software.

Currently developing software for Ae (Aprendizagem eletrônica) system , which was sponsored by FAPESP.

Experience in Computer Science. Main research areas: e-Learning, Augmented Reality, Spatial Audio, Tele-Presence.

Reinaldo Matushima

Degrees in Computer Engineering and Master of Science in Eletronic Engineering, both at University of São Paulo.  Market work experience, currently collaborating at LARC working as researcher and project coordinator. 

Specialist in security, network convergence and multimedia applications. In recent years has worked heavily  in digital video area.

Graça Bressan

Graça Bressan got her PhD in Electronic Engineering (1986) at Escola Politécnica of University of São Paulo (EPUSP). Nowadays, at the Computer Engineering Department at EPUSP, she teaches and develops research on computer network, digital television and performance analysis and has published numerous articles and has oriented Msc and PhD degree students. Her current research interests includes computer networks and digital lelevision focusing in the aspects of distributed systems, distributed middleware, QoS mechanisms, collaborative virtual environment, middleware for Digital TV, interactive digital TV, video-conferencing, modeling and performance analysis of networks, and application in distance education. She received the award Décio Leal de Zagotis from EPUSP(2001). In former days, she was professor at Instituto de Matemática e Estatística (USP) were she got her graduation and master degree. At Scopus Tecnologia she was the head of the software department were was responsible for development of operating systems, network middleware and microcomputers firmware, software systems for tellers machines and ATM. At CTI/MCT she was manager of the software division.
